About

The Zion Faith Homes is a Bible based, Pentecostal, Christ centered ministry where Jesus draws people to Himself.   Countless people, over the more than one hundred years, have been blessed and helped through the sweet Presence of Jesus in the Homes.  The ministry is multifaceted and operates under the authority of group leadership whose prayer and faith is that Jesus Himself is the Head.  The Faith Homes is a faith work, trusting God to meet every need.  The whole Bible is treasured and God’s lowliness and mercy are carefully remembered.  The life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ are central in this ministry.  Our desire is to love Him, to love others in His Name, and to keep His commandments.  We thank Him for His Grace.

The worship of God is of great importance in the lives and fellowship in the Faith Homes.  Seeking God in prayer and intercessory prayer are given much time and attention.  Some of our prayers are: the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on all flesh, Thy Kingdom come and Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven, that the Word of God arise, that the Cross be unveiled, that the Body of Christ be completed,  and for the Peace of Jerusalem.   We pray a good deal for God’s will to be fulfilled in Israel and the Jewish people.  Our hearts bear before God His desire to prepare His Bride, complete His perfect work in His Body, and to save the lost.  We believe a very important aspect of the appearing of Christ is the revelation of Jesus to and through His people to the world.

The Community of those living in the Homes is an important facet of the Faith Home ministry.  The property consists of two large old houses, one having been enlarged to contain the church as well as office and living space.  The other is the guest house as well as living space for Faith Home members.  Everyone trusts God for provision.  Each member is committed to the schedule which includes a daily two hour personal time in the Bible and prayer, attendance to the worship, prayer and Bible study meetings together with the church congregation.  Meals are regularly together and include scripture and prayer time.  The normal daily work of cleaning, cooking and maintenance, etc. is shared.  Everyone participates in ministry to guests, the church family, neighborhood and city.  Our endeavor is to please Jesus in all we do, and that all be done in His love and for His Glory.

The Church is another important facet of the Faith Home ministry.  It serves in Zion as a local congregation.  God has kept it with faithful, dedicated people who want Jesus.  No one in the group leadership is to be prominent, just Jesus Himself.  The meetings are open and spontaneous for people led to share testimony, scripture, or call a song.  Worshiping together is a great joy as is to pray and care for one another.

Many people through the years have come and received ministerial training and spiritual growth in their walk with Jesus.  The Lord has called many into ministry and mission work in foreign lands.  The Faith Homes has been blessed to assist these missionaries in practical ways, and as a place to stay when they are on furlough.   They, of course are a great blessing to us as well.  We’re thankful for pastors who keep fellowship with the Homes and we value their work for His Kingdom.

The Faith Homes also is blessed when people come as our guests to seek the Lord, join in our meetings, etc. and find more of Jesus.  We print and send upon request a variety of literature which has been written through the years by some of the earlier ministers.

God has been faithful and wonderfully good. We trust Him to fulfill His own purpose in the Zion Faith Home Ministry.
